About Me and My Services

I am a forensic psychologist, psychotherapist, hypnotherapist, and mental coach. I have over 15 years of experience in the Finnish Prison and Probation Service and more than 10 years of experience in private practice, providing psychotherapy (cognitive and schema therapy), hypnotherapy, and psychological consultation.

My areas of expertise include personality disorders, narcissism, coercive control, and abuse in high-control groups (such as groups characterized by rigid hierarchies, coercive social structures, and intrusive regulation of members' beliefs, behaviours, and relationships). I work with individuals who have experienced narcissistic abuse, coercive relationships, or psychological harm in high-control groups, as well as with professionals seeking consultation in these fields.

I provide psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, and mental coaching through Mehiläinen. Please contact me at pia.puolakka(at)mehilainen.fi.

I also offer forensic psychology consultations through the law firm PsyJuridica. Please contact me at pia.puolakka(at)psyjuridica.com.

For international enquiries, online consultations, speaking engagements, and other professional collaborations, you are also welcome to contact me directly at piapuo(at)luukku.com.

I am a member of the Finnish Association for Support for Victims of Religions, the Finnish Association for Support for Victims of Narcissism and International Corrections and Prisons Association (ICPA).

Consultations are available in both Finnish and English. Online consultations are available for clients worldwide.
